MSCs web-based tool, Cybercounts, enables you to process fast count requests on your database. Virtually any demographic and/or geographic data element can be used to include or exclude records from the universe, and can be used in a count or query.

You can create many kinds of count reports:

• Simple count of records that meet specific demographic and/or geographic criteria.
• Frequency distributions on a field that shows every value that the field contains, as well as the count of records that have each value.
• Profiles with up to 3 variables. Profiles show counts of records that exist for each combination of values on 2 or 3 fields.

All count reports can be viewed instantly, stored for viewing later, or downloaded for viewing using Excel or Access or other software products. You also have the option to e-mail a count report to another individual.

Segmentation

Queries can be stacked such that multiple criteria can be applied simultaneously to the universe. The count report will show how many records met each individual select criterion, and the final count that met all of the select criteria. The multiple criteria can be categorized into segments. The subsequent count report will show how many records met each select criterion within a segment, how many records met the total requirements for each segment, and how many records met the criteria across all the segments!

Suppression

You can save queries and then suppress a prior query from a new query. When you indicate a prior query to suppress, then only records that were not used in the prior query are counted. You can suppress multiple prior queries at any time.
