A natural extension to the Data Analysis tool described above is the ability to actually select the records that meet specific criteria. Cybercounts can be configured to include a list selection feature.

Selection Types

Records can be selected using a variety of techniques. Once you have identified the selection criteria using include / exclude logic on the available data elements, then you may apply one of the selection techniques. You can take all of the records, a random subset, an Nth selection, or a top-down selection. An Nth selection differs from a random in that it will sequentially select every Nth record in the universe to fill the desired quantity (the N is calculated such that the entire universe is exhausted in filling the quantity). A top-down selection selects records sequentially from a universe that has been sorted in ascending or descending sequence on one or more variables.

Test Cells

You control the keycodes that go on each output record. You can assign a unique keycode for each segment (see Data Analysis section above), or the same keycode for all records. You can split your selected universe into test cells and have each test cell receive a different keycode.

Seeds

The functionality exists to include seeds with the selected records. The client may store and maintain a seed file on the server that can be included at list output time. The option exists to change the first or last name of each seed for each list fulfillment.

Output Formats

There are many output format options. MSC will pre-configure the output layouts that are desired. Each output format is then listed as an option in a drop down box. Just pick one of the layouts. There is a button that when clicked will show the actual layout of the chosen option.

FTP

Records are delivered via easy point-and-click FTP download. Functionality exists for users to send e-mail notification of output file availability to anyone with an e-mail address. E-mail notification will automatically contain file name, ftp download URL link, record layout, record count and file description
